- I don't think so. My dad is color blind (red/green). He always thought that red was an ugly color (it looks brown to him), green also looks brown (though green traffic lights look white). About 20 years ago he got a new pair of prescription sunglasses (the first pair he ever owned).

- I am surprised that it isn't common knowledge already. My mother told me about this when I was a small child, and it always stuck with me (I am in my mid-30's now).
