Mumps Outbreak at Harvard Threatens Graduation
Thu Apr 28, 2016
In reply to: Jeremiah Weed #3 Most of the time, this is true. However, my little sister got mumps when we were kids and she was vaccinated. This is why the herd immunity is so important. Some states are starting to remove the personal/religious exemptions and I am glad. &nbs …
Four College Students Killed When Duck Boat and Charter Bus Crash in Seattle
Thu Sep 24, 2015
In reply to: Notorious_bob #1 Actually, the tour bus crashed into the Duck, not the other way around. I actually drove on this bridge this morning (as our main freeway was shut down for the Chinese President's motorcade), and as I have every time since I was a child, I prayed the whole …
'Fat Girl Running' Blogger Challenges Stereotypes Miles at a Time
Thu Sep 17, 2015
In reply to: djo_34 #2 Because it is much harder to be a fat runner, and it challenges stereotypes about fat people. Yes, that differentiates her from the crowd of runners. I am also an overweight runner, and I can tell you that it is harder on every body part, but once you start …

Wed Dec 25, 2013
Actually, previous articles have stated that when the problem happened that no nurses or doctors could be found. The grandmother happened to be a nurse and was suctioning the blood, but they couldn't get anybody into the room to help her.
Soldier linked to sex assaults can blame identical twin, judge rules
Sun Nov 17, 2013
Since many of the crimes were committed in different states, I actually think it won't be that difficult to prove which one did it. Yes, their DNA matches, but as a soldier the brother who was charged has likely moved around quite a bit.
Vatican suspends Germany's 'bishop bling' after multimillion-dollar renovation
Wed Oct 23, 2013
I don't think it is wrong of this bishop to want these things, he just got in to the wrong profession. If he wanted a $4mil chapel, he should have gone to business school and become CEO of a Fortune 500 company.
Colorado teen pleads guilty to dismembering 10-year-old girl
Tue Oct 1, 2013
I am not opposed to the death penalty, and in other, similar circumstances I would completely endorse it.
